Feel it. Feel all the things. It’s okay. And I’m sorry if you’ve ever felt rushed or pushed to change it/fix it/solve it faster than you may be ready. Or that that you/we believe there’s even something to FIX, for crying out loud. So I’m just going to sit with you for a bit if that’s okay. // side note: Sometimes it takes a line in a tv show to capture things. (This one is paraphrased from Wanderlust on Netflix. Episode 5, to be more specific). I feel, too, like I could have summed this up more nicely in my little IG note here, but at the same time it’s exactly what I’m thinking and want to share with you so here ya go.

How to find and activate a new Idea: 1. Stop trying to come up with new ideas. Let them find you. In fact, let yourself off the hook from everything you think you should be doing for a day. Or two. Or three. 2. Enjoy letting your mind and actions be in full-on wandering mode. 3. While stepping out of the shower one morning, notice a brand-spanking-new Idea suddenly pop in to your head. 4. Let the energy of that new idea infiltrate every corner of your body and your mind. 5. Go with it. Ride the wave. Do something. Come on a Listening Walk with me and tell me all about it. Don’t think too much. Just keep taking one small step and then another small step until the idea is out there. Happening. Alive. // All of this can happen in less than 24 hours. Don’t believe me? Consider The Listening Walk. The Idea came to me on Tuesday morning. By Tuesday night I had it up on a webpage and was telling people about it. Yesterday two amazing people signed up, with a few more in the wings. Last night I bought the domain name, so the Idea can feel all fancy and official. == Idea. Activated.
